Well, here we go again. Another Hollywood actor, another horrifying scandal. This time, it’s Gabriel Olds, the 52-year-old actor with an Ivy League degree from Yale and a string of TV and movie roles to his name.
Olds is now facing a mountain of charges after three more women came forward, accusing him of rape and sexual assault. With these new allegations, Olds is now charged with a total of 12 counts involving six victims—spanning a decade, from 2013 to as recently as 2023.
According to prosecutors, Olds used his status as both a Yale graduate and a Hollywood actor to lure women into vulnerable situations after meeting them on dating apps. Once these consensual dates took a violent turn, it was clear that his so-called charm was just a mask for something far more sinister. The LAPD described how Olds would initially make his victims feel safe, only to then turn sexually violent, assaulting women in his home, their homes, and even in a Los Angeles hotel.

The details are as disturbing as they are sadly familiar. In one of the latest allegations, a woman recounted how Olds sodomized her in September 2021. Another victim reported being raped in May 2022, and yet another described being sexually assaulted in May 2023. None of the women knew each other, but the stories they told were eerily similar.
Even more disturbing is how these women, for years, suffered in silence. It was only after reading media coverage of Olds’ earlier arrest that the three new victims felt able to come forward, revealing the true scope of Olds’ alleged violence. And, as is often the case, it seems there could be more victims out there. Detective Brent Hopkins even hinted at the possibility of more, given the long gap between some of the assaults.
Gabriel Olds then…

Gabriel Olds now.In all honesty, I’d never heard of this character, but I saw his photo (at left) and had to know the story. If this is what Hollywood does to people, stay away. 🤡💀 pic.twitter.com/pphgPYy7tL

Let’s not forget that Olds’ defense is already trying to play the usual card. His lawyer, Leonard Levine, claims that any sexual contact was consensual, and Olds has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Sure, because consensual encounters often end with women filing restraining orders, blacking out from being choked, or vomiting from fear and trauma. That’s sarcasm for those keeping score.
With Olds set to appear in court on September 25, the case will no doubt become another chapter in Hollywood’s ever-growing list of post-#MeToo reckonings. We’ve seen it with Danny Masterson, Harvey Weinstein, and so many others—Hollywood’s dark underbelly being dragged into the light.
Here’s hoping justice is served, and those affected by Olds’ alleged brutality get the chance to finally be heard. If convicted, Olds could spend decades behind bars, but for now, his case serves as yet another reminder of the abuse hiding behind the glitter of Hollywood.
