Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the most prominent accusers of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been charged in Perth, Australia, for allegedly breaching a family violence restraining order. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on February 2, according to reports from 7News. Details of the restraining order have not been made public, and Giuffre’s representatives have not yet commented on the allegation.
The 41-year-old mother of three is scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday to address the alleged violation. Giuffre has been living in Perth with her family for several years but is currently believed to be separated from her husband, Robert Giuffre, with whom she was married for over two decades.
The news of the legal charge emerged shortly after Giuffre made a public statement on social media claiming she was near death following a car crash. In a post shared over the weekend, Giuffre said she had been involved in a collision with a school bus on March 24 and was in critical condition. She posted a photo of herself appearing injured and stated that she had been diagnosed with kidney failure, saying she was given just “four days to live.”
“I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,” Giuffre wrote in the message, which was reportedly intended for her private Facebook page but was mistakenly posted to her public Instagram account.
Western Australian police, however, issued a statement indicating that there were no reported injuries at the time of the crash. In response, a spokeswoman for Giuffre clarified that while there were initially no visible injuries, her condition deteriorated days later, prompting her to seek medical attention.
“The police were called but said there was no one available to come to the scene,” the spokeswoman said. “They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital.”
According to the spokeswoman, the school bus involved had children onboard and the driver chose to leave the scene to return them to school, later filing a police report regarding the incident. Giuffre reportedly took herself to the hospital after developing complications related to the crash. Her representative stated that she is currently in serious condition and remains under medical care.
Giuffre’s father, Sky Roberts, also spoke publicly following the events, telling DailyMail.com that his daughter is struggling both physically and emotionally. He confirmed that she is in the middle of a contentious divorce and has had difficulties seeing her children in recent weeks. “She’s in really bad shape,” Roberts said. “She’s very depressed … there’s everything else she’s been going through with the divorce and not being able to see her kids.”

Virginia Giuffre rose to international prominence after accusing financier Jeffrey Epstein and his associates of sexually abusing her while she was a teenager. She also alleged that she had been forced to have sexual encounters with Britain’s Prince Andrew, which he has denied. In 2022, Prince Andrew reached a financial settlement with Giuffre in a civil lawsuit filed in the United States, avoiding a trial.
The recent developments mark a tumultuous period in Giuffre’s life as she faces ongoing personal and legal challenges. Authorities have not provided further updates on either the restraining order case or her medical condition. Giuffre’s representatives have not responded to additional requests for comment.
