Well, here’s a scene you don’t expect to witness at the so-called “Happiest Place on Earth.”

A mother, donning her silver sparkly Mickey ears, was escorted out of Disneyland in handcuffs on Wednesday, putting on quite a spectacle as she allegedly tried to sneak her children into the park without paying. Yes, that’s right—while the rest of us shell out hundreds for tickets, this mom thought she could game the system, and it didn’t go quite as planned.

Captured on camera for all to see, the woman was caught yelling obscenities at Anaheim police officers as they led her out of Disney California Adventure Park. “You’re hurting me, you’re f***ing hurting me,” she shouted repeatedly in a video that, of course, made its way onto TikTok in record time. As if that wasn’t enough of a scene, her two children were seen clinging to her, crying and begging for help, while onlookers stood by, stunned.

The reason for the mother’s grand exit? According to KTLA, she allegedly tried to pass her two daughters off as under the age of three to dodge buying tickets. Now, anyone who’s been to Disneyland knows that kids under three get in for free. But if the video is any indication, her daughters were clearly older than that, making this sneaky plan fall apart pretty quickly.

And let’s talk about the prices for a minute. Disneyland is no cheap outing. A one-day ticket for kids between the ages of 3 and 9 costs anywhere from $112 to $160, depending on the day, with adults paying up to $169. That’s no small chunk of change, and it seems like this mom thought she could save a few bucks by bending the truth. But Disneyland security wasn’t having it, and after some back-and-forth, they called in Anaheim police when she refused to cooperate.

Now, here’s where things really went south. When the police arrived, they simply asked for her ID—a reasonable request—but the woman reportedly refused to provide it. That’s when things escalated, leading to her arrest for obstructing a peace officer. To make matters worse, she’s apparently tried this little ticket-dodging stunt before, according to Anaheim police.

Look, we all know Disneyland isn’t a budget-friendly place, but trying to sneak your kids in without tickets and then getting into a shouting match with the police? That’s not exactly the way to create magical memories with your family. Instead, it became a lesson in what not to do when visiting the Magic Kingdom: buy your tickets, cooperate with security, and maybe, just maybe, save the obscenities for another day.
