Recenlty, a woman from Palm Coast, Florida, got into big trouble after causing a scene when the police tried to arrest her. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office shared that Julia Jones, 40 years old, is now facing several serious charges. These charges include being very drunk in a public place, making a disturbance, hitting a police officer, and having a medicine called Hydrocodone without a prescription.
The situation started around 7 p.m. last Friday. The police went to a house on Farraday Lane because someone called 911 about a woman who was very drunk. According to what someone told the police, Jones might have drunk two liters of vodka that day and even had three more liters delivered to her house (one of the few times doordash may not be a good idea).
When the deputies got there, they found Jones outside a duplex. They said she was having trouble standing straight, talking, and smelled a lot like alcohol. To keep her safe from cars on the road, the deputies asked her to stand next to a patrol car.
However, things got worse from there. A video from a police body camera shows Jones getting very upset. She started yelling very loudly. The deputies tried to calm her down and stop her from causing more trouble, but she began spitting at them and tried to get away. At one point the woman seemed to have almost knocked herself out.

This past weekend, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made 13 arrests, handled 517 calls for service, & made 64 traffic stops.

Even after the deputies and some medical people managed to handcuff her and put her in the back of a police car, she didn’t stop yelling. She lay down across the backseat and continued to shout and say mean things to the deputies.
The situation got even more serious when Jones started hitting her head against the back of the seat while she was still yelling. One of the deputies had to tell her to stop hurting herself. Despite her protests, they took her to a hospital to make sure she was okay before taking her to the county jail.
Later, Jones was able to leave jail after paying a bond of $7,500.
