Secret Service Agent Fired After Incident At Former Presidents Home

Well, if you thought the Secret Service was all about sunglasses, earpieces, and steely professionalism, this story will make you think again. It seems one agent, known only as “Dale,” decided to treat his assignment guarding the Obamas more like a VIP tour guide job—complete with behind-the-scenes access for his girlfriend and an outrageous suggestion to christen Michelle Obama’s bathroom in the least professional way possible.

According to Koryeah Dwanyen’s self-published memoir, Undercover Heartbreak: A Memoir of Trust and Trauma, this former agent invited her to the Obamas’ luxurious Hawaiian beachfront mansion while the family was away. Because nothing screams “national security” like sneaking your girlfriend into a former First Family’s property and suggesting a tryst in the former First Lady’s private bathroom. Classy move, Dale.

But it doesn’t stop there. Dwanyen claims her ex-boyfriend also treated her to a laundry list of insider tidbits, from code names to the Obamas’ schedules, and even snapped photos of the homes of celebrities like Alicia Keys, Steven Spielberg, and Tyler Perry. For someone trained to protect high-profile figures, Dale seemed more interested in running a TMZ side hustle than upholding the trust and discretion his job demands.

“I knew their code names. I knew what day Orange Theory was, what day [Michelle Obama] had private tennis lessons, and when her personal trainer came,” she said.

Dwanyen eventually reported his antics to the Secret Service’s Inspection Division, prompting a full investigation that led to Dale’s termination. The agency, clearly trying to save face, released a statement emphasizing that they acted swiftly once alerted to the issue. “Swiftly” is great, but maybe the vetting process for agents who are entrusted with guarding former presidents needs a little tightening up. Just a thought.

“As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and, after a full investigation, terminated,” Anthony Guglielmi, chief of communications for the Secret Service, told The Independent.

This debacle raises a glaring question: how does someone with such a lack of judgment make it onto one of the most elite security teams in the country? Imagine if Dale’s loose lips had landed sensitive information in the wrong hands. It’s not just a scandal—it’s a glaring failure in maintaining the integrity of a system that’s supposed to be airtight.

This isn’t just about one bad apple; it’s about ensuring that those tasked with protecting America’s leaders are beyond reproach. Dale’s antics aren’t just embarrassing—they’re a reminder that the stakes for these jobs are far too high for anything less than total professionalism. As for Michelle Obama’s bathroom? Let’s hope it gets an extra scrub after this whole fiasco.
