Former Rep. George Santos has made headlines again, this time for an unusual claim about a sitting member of Congress. In a recent interview, the expelled New York Republican identified Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) as the lawmaker with the worst body odor on Capitol Hill.

Santos, who represented parts of Long Island before being removed from office in December 2023, appeared on comedian Jim Norton’s new podcast, Jim Norton Can’t Save You, on Wednesday. During the conversation, Norton asked Santos to name the lawmaker with the worst breath. The question initially caught Santos off guard, prompting laughter before he shifted focus to body odor instead.

“I can say this for sure [with] no mental reservation,” Santos said. “The worst body odor in Congress is definitely Jerry Nadler.”

Santos, 36, elaborated on his claim, insisting that Nadler’s scent was noticeable in the halls of Congress.

“Really, it’s so bad. It’s so bad,” he said. “Dude, Jerry Nadler stinks. Dude, he stinks.”

The former lawmaker also recalled an incident on the House floor where he alleged that Nadler passed gas while walking past him.

“Jerry Nadler would waddle down that aisle and crop dust,” Santos said. “Like, it was every step of his waddle was a fart.”

Santos then criticized Nadler’s appearance, adding, “But the dude just stinks… he’s greasy and oily. Ewww. Take a shower, goddamnit!”

Nadler, 76, has served in Congress since 1992 and has been a key Democratic figure, chairing the House Judiciary Committee from 2019 to 2023. He won reelection in 2022 after defeating fellow longtime Democrat Carolyn Maloney in a high-profile primary race.

Santos expressed frustration over Nadler’s political longevity, saying, “You know what’s my biggest disappointment of the 2022 cycle? That Carolyn Maloney didn’t beat him.”

Santos was expelled from Congress in December 2023 following an Ethics Committee investigation that found he misused campaign funds, including spending on Botox treatments and adult content. His removal marked the first time a Republican had been expelled from the House.

In August 2024, Santos pleaded guilty to wire fraud and identity theft as part of a federal case, and he now faces a potential sentence ranging from two to 20 years in prison. Despite his legal troubles, Santos has remained in the public eye through media appearances and social media activity.

Nadler’s office did not respond to Daily Mail’s request for comment regarding Santos’ remarks.
