The two have been accused of jetting off on romantic trips together, including a lavish cruise and getaway to Napa Valley, all while working on the case against Trump and his allies. Bank records show that Wade even used his personal credit card to purchase tickets to San Francisco and Miami during the time the pair were allegedly involved.
Meanwhile, the scandal has sparked an investigation into Willis by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, who are looking into whether she misused taxpayer funds to finance her romantic escapades with Wade. She is also facing accusations of overpaying her lover by at least $675,000 since 2022.
As the scandal continues to unfold, questions are being raised about Willis’ judgement and motivations. The fact that she appointed an inexperienced personal injury lawyer as lead prosecutor in such a high-stakes case raises serious doubts about her ability to make sound decisions. The scandal has even caught the attention of House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, who has requested records from Wade to see if he may have abused federal funds by billing the county for trips he took with Willis.
But it’s not just about the alleged romance between Willis and Wade. Some are now questioning whether Willis may be being influenced by more powerful players behind the scenes, as her actions continue to come under scrutiny.

Meanwhile, the case against Trump is facing serious challenges as well. One of the defendants in the case, Michael Roman, has filed a motion claiming that Willis’ alleged affair and questionable actions have tainted the case and are calling for the charges against him to be dropped.
With so much drama surrounding the case, there are growing concerns that it could ultimately fall apart. And if it does, it will not only be a major embarrassment for Willis and Fulton County, it will also be a victory for Trump and his allies who are currently facing an overwhelming 91 felony counts.
