A mysterious metallic sphere that appeared in the skies over Buga, Colombia, in March has drawn international attention, prompting widespread speculation about its origin. The sphere, weighing approximately 4.5 pounds, was reportedly seen flying through the air before landing and being recovered by local residents. According to reports on social media, including a widely shared video posted by the account Truthpolex on X, the object defied traditional flight patterns before coming to a stop.

Witnesses described the object as smooth, cold to the touch, and free of welds or joints, characteristics that have puzzled both scientists and amateur researchers. The lack of any visible seams on the sphere led Dr. Jose Luis Velazquez, a radiologist who examined the object, to state that it appeared to be “of artificial origin,” although he added that more analysis was necessary to determine exactly where it came from. According to Dr. Velazquez, the object contains high-density internal materials, raising additional questions about how it was formed.

The surface of the sphere was inscribed with a series of unusual symbols, which researchers say include ancient-looking runes and characters resembling those found in Ogham and Mesopotamian writing systems. These inscriptions became a central focus of the investigation. A team of scientists employed artificial intelligence tools in an effort to interpret the meaning of the symbols. Their translation suggested a philosophical or spiritual message: “The origin of birth through union and energy in the cycle of transformation, meeting point of unity, expansion, and consciousness — individual consciousness.” The research team interpreted this as a call for humanity to adopt a greater collective awareness, especially in the context of environmental challenges.

David Velez el Potro, a researcher associated with the case, spoke about the object on Maussan Television, hosted by journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan. He stated that the sphere moved in a way that did not resemble traditional aircraft, adding to the object’s mysterious nature. One of the men who initially discovered the object, identified only as Jose, reportedly felt ill after touching the sphere. According to Velez, when water was poured on the object, it began to emit smoke and caused the water to vaporize instantly.

Further analysis revealed that the sphere had a layered structure. The outer shell had a density similar to that of human bone, and X-ray images showed 18 small dots arranged in a specific pattern within the object. These small internal components appeared to have been placed inside the sphere before it was sealed. Despite detailed imaging, researchers were unable to detect any signs of assembly, such as bolts or seams, adding to the enigma.

Nacho Rojo, host of the YouTube channel Hidden Truth, described the sphere as having three layers and reiterated that it showed no external signs of manufacture. He suggested that the object was intentionally constructed to contain the internal elements.

However, not all experts agree with the more speculative theories. Julia Mossbridge, a physicist from the University of San Diego, offered a more grounded perspective in a statement to Fox News Digital. She suggested the sphere may simply be a piece of creative expression. “It looks to me like a really cool art project,” Mossbridge said.

As of now, no official agency has confirmed the origin of the object, and further investigations are reportedly ongoing. Multiple eyewitness accounts continue to circulate, but no definitive conclusions have been reached about the sphere’s source or purpose.
