President Trump held rallies in Tennessee and Nebraska, calling crowds 'outrageous' while pushing for Fetterman to switch parties.

President Donald Trump declared that his campaign rallies are generating massive enthusiasm for Republican candidates as he plans more travel. He wrote on Truth Social that his events have already become legendary and are making a tremendous difference for the party. Trump says the crowds are already waiting in line for his upcoming stops in Ohio and Alaska.

On Monday, Sen. Jon Husted and gubernatorial nominee Vivek Ramaswamy will receive support when Trump visits Youngstown, Ohio. He also previewed a trip to Wasilla, Alaska, to help Sen. Dan Sullivan and Congressman Nick Begich. According to Breitbart, the president traveled to Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Nebraska, and Alabama just last week before heading to New York and Tennessee. Daniel Baldwin, chief White House correspondent for One America News Network, called the Nebraska crowd outrageous, observing that the expo center was mobbed.

Fetterman Switch Talk

Trump also told reporters on Saturday that he would love to see Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman become a Republican. He made these comments at Joint Base Andrews while returning from a rally in Tennessee. “I’d love to see him as a Republican,” Trump said to the press. According to his comments, Fetterman would function more effectively as a Republican than as a Democrat. However, Senator Fetterman isn’t entertaining any such notions and has repeatedly rejected the idea of switching parties.

In May, Fetterman told The Washington Post that he would be a terrible Republican who still votes overwhelmingly with Democrats, according to RedState. At the Republican midterm convention, the senator recently recorded a video praising fellow Pennsylvania senator Dave McCormick. Fetterman stated in that video that he is always going to stand with America and reject the extremes and socialism.

Renaming the Oceans

During a rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Saturday, Trump joked about renaming the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. He mused that while he loves the Hudson River, he might need a river and an ocean named after him. “We’ve got the Gulf, we’ve got a beautiful lake, and now someone said ‘you need a river,’ so, I don’t wanna change the name of the Hudson River,” Trump said. He then suggested calling one of the oceans the Trump Ocean or the Ocean of the Americans.

The New York Post stated that Trump has already acted to change the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and Lake Ontario to Lake America. These changes came as retaliation over trade tensions with Canada. Although Trump has not yet implemented them, he also proposed renaming New Mexico as New America and the Strait of Hormuz as the Trump Strait.

Trump has a history of slapping his name on properties and now fights to rename government structures too. His administration previously renamed the Institute of Peace headquarters as the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace. He has expressed frustration with the Norwegian Nobel Committee for not awarding him the prize, even after opposition figure María Corina Machado gave him her prize. Trump continues to campaign for geographical title changes throughout his term.
