On Sunday, November 13, four University of Idaho students were found stabbed to death in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho. More than a week later, the killer is still at large and the police are no closer to solving the horrific crime.
Just days before the brutal attack a carefree video was posted by members of the home who appeared not to have a care in the world.
The last video discovered of the group was the night of the attack when they stopped to get food at a truck.
The victims are Ethan Chapin, 20, of Conway, Washington; Madison Mogen, 21, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Xana Kernodle, 20, of Avondale, Arizona; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, of Rathdrum, Idaho.
It is believed the four students were killed in the house between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Nov. 13, Moscow Mayor Art Bettge told ABC News.
Apparently, there were two other roommates who were in the basement of the home and slept through the murders, police said. Apparently, on the morning of Nov. 13, the two surviving roommates found one of the victims on the second floor and thought they had just passed out and weren’t waking up. The roommates decided to call their friends over to assist, police said. It was then that they decided to call 911.
At 11:58 a.m., 911 received a call from one of the roommate’s phones requesting help for an unconscious person, according to police. The 911 caller’s identity has not been released but police said: “multiple people talked with the 911 dispatcher.”
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the four victims on the second and third floors.
At this time, Authorities do not believe anyone at the house during the time of the 911 call was involved in the murders.
Autopsies have concluded that all victims were stabbed multiple times, police said.
Currently, there are no suspects and the knife used in the killings has not been found.
