Top Secret Drone Image Seen On Maps App

Over the past few years there have been a lot of reports about UFO above and below the water. As a matter of fact, there have been stories about naval sonar operations experiencing anomalies that they can’t explain underwater.

Well, a Google Maps accident could explain some of this.

A top-secret US submarine prototype weapon called the “Manta Ray,” has been spotted by sharp-eyed Google Maps users and is now visible to the public online. Satellite images show the futuristic vessel docked at Port Hueneme naval base in California, where its unique design stands out among other ships.

Named after the sea creature for its sleek appearance and ability to stay deep underwater while using minimal power, the Manta Ray is an advanced underwater drone created by Northrop Grumman as part of a US Navy project. This project aims to develop long-range underwater weapons. The drone can hibernate on the sea floor for extended periods without needing to refuel. It moves through the water efficiently using buoyancy-driven gliding, explained Dr. Kyle Woerner, the Manta Ray program manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

“Our successful, full-scale Manta Ray testing validates the vehicle’s readiness to advance toward real-world operations,” said Woerner. The craft features several payload bays of varying sizes to support a wide range of naval missions. Its modular design allows it to be disassembled and transported in standard shipping containers, eliminating the need for special port facilities.

The Navy spent over three months testing the Manta Ray off the coast of Southern California. Defense analysts believe the development of this drone technology is part of a strategic move to counter Russian and Chinese submarine operations. The Telegraph reported that Russia is developing its own underwater drones and plans to acquire nearly three dozen of these vessels. Russian drones reportedly have a range of about 6,200 miles, can be armed with nuclear weapons, and can reach speeds of up to 100 knots (approximately 115 mph).

Now is the Manta Ray the UFO  or a version of one that military members have reported seeing? Maybe.

I remember a period when there were a lot of UFO sightings and then all of sudden the public learned about the F-117 and the B-2 stealth bomber.

It seems like that may be what’s happening now.
