The “Full House” cast be may a little less full as actress Candace Cameron Bure has unfollowed her former co-star, Jodie Sweetin, on Instagram after Sweetin defended JoJo Siwa against Bure’s controversial comments about “traditional marriage.”

Although Bure cut digital ties with Sweetin, Sweetin continues to follow Bure.

Bure, 46, and Sweetin, 40, grew up together and gained their fame while playing sisters on the sitcom “Full House” for eight seasons. More recently, they continued their roles on an updated version of Netflix’s “Fuller House” and have continued to stay close it looks like until now.

Bure, a devout Christian, was attacked due to a comment during an interview in which she said that her new network would focus on projects that feature “traditional marriage.”

Bure told WSJ Magazine of her decision to leave Hallmark for the Great American Family network saying, “My heart wants to tell stories that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them. I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment. … I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

“Dance Moms” star and singer, Jojo Siwa, 19, and Bure have not had an easy relationship in the past with Siwa being very negative and vocal towards Bure.

Following Bure’s comment, Siwa shared a screenshot of an article titled “Candace Cameron Bure’s Plan For New Cable Channel: No Gays,” and expressed her shock at Bure’s comment saying,

“Honestly, I can’t believe after everything that went down just a few months ago, that she would not only create a movie with intention of excluding LGBTQIA+ but then also talk about it in the press,”

She continued saying, “This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people.”

Hilarie Burton, another actress, called Bure a bigot.

Apparently, practicing certain religions or having your own beliefs calls for name-calling.

However, Bure responded with grace and simply stated, “I have a simple message: I love you anyway. To everyone reading this, of any race, creed, sexuality, or political party, including those who have tried to bully me with name-calling, I love you.”
