Looking back, it seems T.J. Holmes, an anchor on GMA, was revealing his true character in a post to his now estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig, saying she (Fiebig) had “plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities” to leave their marriage.
This comes as news of Holmes and his co-worker, Amy Robach’s alleged affair comes to light.
In March 2020, Holmes posted a 10th-anniversary picture and comment to his wife, an immigration lawyer, which has now gone viral.
“10 years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me,” the anchor, 45, captioned the wedding photos at the time. “And despite my best efforts, she remained married to me the past 10 years.”
He continued saying, “That’s not hyperbole. I’m not being dramatic. I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine ass out the doooooooor.”
News broke on Wednesday that Holmes and his “Good Morning America” co-anchor, Robach, 49, have been allegedly having a months-long affair.
Reportedly, the pair have been involved in a passionate romance even though they are both married to their respective spouses for the past 12 years.
An insider told Page Six that Holmes and Robach “were very careful” to keep their relationship “secret.”
“The producers at GMA are shocked to hear they are having an affair,” the source said.

A series of pictures obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com shows the couple enjoying each other’s company at a New York City bar, time in each other’s apartments, and a weekend away in a secluded cottage in Upstate New York.
According to sources, it is unknown when or how Holmes’s wife or Robach’s husband learned of the affair, but both couples separated in August this year.
Fans and Friends alike are in shock, with some on Twitter slamming the couple, saying,
