As Haiti continues to be on the brink of collapse, Marines have been added to the security team at the American embassy.

The elite Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team (F.A.S.T) has been sent to the embassy as gang leader Jimmy
“Barbecue” Cherizier continues to call for revolution.

Acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry stepped down as skirmishes riddled the streets.

The European Commission has sent aid however, Kenya has decided to pause their plan to head a multinational police mission through the United Nations.

Most non-essential United States personal have been evacuated from the embassy however, little has been done to get out Americans (many humanitarian workers) out of the country.

Florida Congressman Cory Mills was part of a private mission to rescue 10 US citizens who were working at the Have Faith Orphanage inside Part-au-Prince.

“This mission reiterates a disturbing reality under President Biden’s leadership: American lives are continually jeopardized,” Mills said. “I have led missions to rescue Americans multiple times when Joe Biden has deserted them. There’s a clear pattern of abandonment.”

The congressman also citied his rescue missions in Afghanistan during the chaotic 2021 withdrawal and geting Americans out of Southern Israel in late 2023.

He also safely evacuated Americans from Israel in late 2023.

“Yet again, this group was left behind by Biden and his State Department after requesting their help in-country,” Mills added.

In Florida, lawmakers are preparing for a possible flood of Haitians trying to escape the strife.

Governor Ron DeSantis has ordered Florida Division of Emergency Management, the National Guard, and State law enforcement officers to deploy an additional 250 officers to the southern coast. He has also directed over a dozen air and sea crafts to “supplement the under-resourced U.S. Coast Guard’s interdiction efforts.”
